When to visit Tanzania
Many travelers ask us when the best time is to visit Tanzania. The answer is... there isn't one right answer. It depends on what you want to see, where you want to go, your budget, and interests. Every time of the year has its pros and cons. Some people prefer to visit Tanzania during the dry season when roads are better, there's less rain, and wildlife sightings are plentiful. Others are fine with a little rain during the wet season, where they can enjoy lush landscapes, colorful nature, and fewer tourists. We've compiled a list of pros for both the dry and wet seasons in Tanzania to help you make your choice. Everyone is different, so there's no correct answer.
Mid-season: March, November 1st to December 21st.
